St. John's Baptist Church - Southlake, TX

    Contractor:  Rentenbach Constructors - Hurst, TX

Consisting of nearly 52,000 sf this beautiful Worship and Education facility by Ron Mabry & Associates Architects will be located in Southlake, TX.  This project will include PEMB materials from United Structures of America, structural steel from Superior Steel Services, sheeting and trim from Architectural Building Components and insulation by PBI Supply. 

 

 

Barbours Cut Inspection Facilities - LaPorte, TX

    Contractor:  Satterfield & Pontikes - Houston, TX

The  Barbours Cut Inspection Facility is another part of the Port of Houston expansion in the La Porte area of Harris County.  We are pleased to be working, once again, with Satterfield & Pontikes, who is serving as the General Contractor on this project.

The project consists of five canopies for approximately 52,000 sf of MBCI Doublelok roofing  and four wood framed buildings for another 11,000 sf of  MBCI Superlok roofing.  Additionally, each of the Inspection Canopies will have a 6'-6" fascia band sheeted with MBCI FW-120 wall panels.  We will begin work on this project in February and should be complete by the end of June.

 

LAT-Alliance Freight Terminal - Conway Express

    Contractor:  Layton Construction - Sandy, Utah

CBSi will be serving as the erection contractor for Layton Construction on yet another freight terminal.  This project is located near Alliance Airport and consist of 7,000 sf of Office, 40,000 sf of Dock, and a Wash Building and Fuel Island. 

The PEMB materials will be provided by American Buildings in Eufala, AL.  The roof and wall insulation will be provided by PBI in Dallas, TX and will be installed using the Perfect "R" installation machines for a near seamless installation.

 

Devine Mercy of our Lord Catholic Church - Mesquite, TX

    Contractor:  Frank Dale Construction - Soutlake, TX

We will begin erection of this 23,000 sf facility in July of 2006 with completion anticipated in September.  The building materials will be provided by Mesco.

 

First Baptist Church - Little Elm, TX

    Contractor:  Frank Dale Construction - Southlake, TX

This 32,000 sf project includes both Worship and Education space.  Materials are to be provided by Mesco and feature a 16" wide, vertical leg roof panel. with a 4:12 roof slope.  Erection will begin late in May and will be complete by mid-June of 2006.

 

Bayport Gate Complex - Seabrook, TX

    Contractor:  McCarthy Construction - Dallas, TX

The Bayport Gate Complex is part of the Port of Houston expansion in the La Porte area of Harris County.  The PEMB materials for this project are being provided by Butler Buildings through McCarty Industrial.

The project consists of five canopies, a Customs Warehouse and other miscellaneous structures for a combined square footage of just over 42,000 sf.  We will begin work on this project in May and should be complete by the start of August.

 

AW Brown Charter School - Dallas, TX

    Contractor:  Frank Dale Construction - Southlake, TX

This project is just under 10,000 sf in size with a 30' EH.  the exterior is bricked to 10' AFF and we are providing liner panels on all four wall of the Gymnasium starting at 8' AFF.

The building was provided by Mesco and was completed in May 2006.

 

Stone Creek Office Park - Prosper, TX

    Contractor:  Unlimited Construction, Inc. - Prosper, TX

This project consists of approximately 13,000 sf of Architectural Building Products' 24 ga, Slate Gray, Permaseam roof panel.  This panel is installed over plywood and 30# felt on a wood-framed building.

Note that all fasteners are completely concealed on this roofing product, including at the eaves and rakes of the building.

Project was completed in February 2006

 

 

26772 Business Center - Aubrey, TX

    Contractor:  Unlimited Construction, Inc. - Prosper, TX

Once again we are working with UCI on another project.  This one consists of about 18,900 sf of Office/Warehouse space along Hwy 380 outside of Aubrey, TX.  The metal building is being provided by Ceco Building Systems and will feature ABC's 24 ga Series 200 roof panel.  Other features include a concealed gutter system on the front of the Center, as well as bold stone covered columns and an 8' wide continuous walkway across the front face.

This project was completed in January of 2006.

 

 

Social Security Office - McKinney, TX

    Contractor:  Pre-Engineered Solutions, LLC - Dallas, TX

CBSI was chosen as the erector for this project with Pre-Engineered Solutions, LLC.  The building is to be provided by Nucor Building Systems.  However, CBSI will be providing and installing the roof system, which will be provided by Architectural Building Components in Houston, TX.  The roof panel is to be a 24 ga Kynar finished, Series 200, Vertical Leg panel.  The eave line will be hemmed in lieu of having surface screw attachment; a little different approach for a Pre-engineered Metal Building.

This 17,000 sf project began on September 19th or 2005 and was completed in December.

 

Valero/McKee Guardhouse and Fire Station - Sunray, TX

    Contractor:  SpawGlass Contractors, Inc. - San Antonio, TX

We were pleased to have the opportunity of working with SpawGlass Contractors, Inc. of San Antonio, TX for the very first time.  We are to erect this 12,000 sf Fire Station and 900 sf Guardhouse in Sunray, TX (that's about 20 minutes North of Dumas, TX)

The PEMB is provided by Ceco Building Systems.  The project should be starting the first week of September and will be completed before October, is weather permits.  Pictures were unavailable due to security issues of the project site.

 

 

Justin Wakeland High School - Field House - Frisco, TX

    Contractor:  Turner Construction - Dallas, TX

Working with Turner Construction, one of the oldest and most respected General Contractors in Dallas, TX,  we contracted to provide the Field House for the new Justin Wakeland High School project in Frisco, TX.  This building accounts for 17,000 sf of this full High School project and we were proud to be a part of this great team.

The pre-engineered metal building was provided by Ceco Building Systems in Columbus, MS. and is was delivered in January of 2005.  Job delays kept us from beginning erection until March of 2005.

 

Harris County Juvenile Justice Center - Houston, TX

    Contractor:  Satterfield & Pontikes - Houston, TX

This unusual project is situated in downtown Houston.  The existing 9-story Juvenile Justice Center is undergoing a complete refurbishment, including the exterior.  The existing PEMB structure on the 6th floor will be expanded by adding a 17' X 60' Lean-to.  We will then build a parapet condition around the exterior of the existing structure, add (8) large framed openings and will sheet the roof and exterior walls.  Additionally, we will be sheeting the interior roof and walls of this structure, the exterior wall of an existing mechanical/elevator Penthouse on the 9th floor, and the "flying-wing" soffit of the new Entrance.

Materials include MBCI FW-120, IL-240, PBR panels and Alucobond soffit panels for the entrance.  This project begins in February and is slated for completion by August.  We are working under NOW Specialties as their sub-contractor on this project.  You might recall that they provided our materials on the Harris County Toll Plaza project.

 

 

 

Christus St. Catherine Medical Center - Katy, TX

    Contractor:  NOW Specialties - Dallas, TX

Though a small part of a larger project, we were pleased to be selected to install nearly 5,000 sf of Alucobond panels on the Entry Canopies and the Personnel Bridge on this project.  The panels featured a "raised panel" profile, which made installation a bit challenging.

Project was completed in July, 2005

 

 

Navo Fire Station - Aubrey, TX

    Contractor:  Ridgemont Commercial Construction - Dallas, TX

We were pleased to work with Ridgemont on this 6,000 sf Fire Station on Hwy 380 in Aubrey, TX.  The PEMB was provided by Alliance.  Work was completed in June of 2005

 

 

New Hope Christian Church - Wylie, TX

    Contractor:  Frank Dale Construction, LTD - Southlake, TX

We were please, once again, to have another opportunity of working with Frank Dale Construction on this project.  While be fairly simple in design this Youth Activity building will have several unique structural elements including a 2-story Entry/Alcove on the side of the Main Building, as well as a large, cantilevered canopy covering an Outdoor Stage. 

The pre-engineered metal building was provided by United Structures of America, Houston, TX.

 

 

Frisco ISD Service Center, Phase III - Frisco, TX

    Contractor:  Coronado Builders in Ft. Worth, TX

To complete their master plan for the Service Center complex we provided and erected the Equipment Service and Maintenance Building for Frisco ISD at the same Rolater Rd. location.  This building was  supplied by Ceco Building Systems and delivered in late January.  This 5,000 sf project was completed at the end of May, 2005.

 

 

Seneca Kennels - Frisco, TX

    Contractor:  Acacia Contracting Group, Inc. in Allen, TX

This 10,700 sf project was constructed for owners Betty and Ken Holt of Canada.  In addition to a large kennel area the project included several grooming areas.  This project was completed in May of 2005.

The pre-engineered metal building was provided by United Structures of America, Houston, TX.

 

 

Metro Family Church in Plano, TX

    Contractor: Acacia Contracting Group, Inc. in Allen, TX

This worship/education facility is located on Hwy. 121 and features nearly 29,000 sf of Pre-engineered Metal Building Construction.  The building was provided by Ceco Building Systems, Inc. of Columbus, MS.  The architect chose the use of Ceco's 16" wide CRP roof panel in a natural Galvalume colored finish.  With a 4:12 roof pitch, tall center structure and a 57' tower supporting a cross that tops out at 79'-6" AFF, this project will become a landmark in North Plano.

This project was completed in May of 2005.

 

Harris County Toll Plaza - Houston, TX

    Contractor:  SpawGlass Civil Construction - Houston, TX

Once again we were selected by SpawGlass Civil Construction in Houston on another Toll Plaza.  This one is located just inside of Beltway 8 and features different material selections than previously used.  Soffit panels are FW-120-2 in 20 ga and were provided by MBCI; the fascia/wall panels selected were an Alucobond "route and return/wet seal" system provided by NOW Specialties in Dallas, TX.

This project hit many a challenge due to weather and holidays but was finally completed the first week of February in 2005.

 

Ferguson Industries - McKinney, TX

(completed in November 2004)

    Contractor:  Unlimited Construction, Inc, - Prosper, TX

As we finished construction of the first phase of this facility in June of 2003 it quickly became obvious that additional space would be needed very soon.  CBSI was selected to provide the Metal Building and Erection for an addition of 4,000 sf.  The new building matches the original structure exactly in both framing components and trim and sheeting.

The pre-engineered metal building was provided by Mid-West Steel Buildings, a division of NCI.

 

 

Fort Bend Toll Plazas - Missouri City, TX

    Contractor:  SpawGlass Civil Construction - Houston, TX

SpawGlass has selected CBSI as the PEMB supplier and installer on this project located in the Houston, TX area.  The project consists of one Main Toll Plaza and four Toll Booths.  CBSI will be installing roof secondary, roofing, fascia and backpanels and soffit on all five building.  Delivery should be interesting since the buildings are spread out over about 4 1/2 miles.

All materials for this project are being supplied by MBCI.  The project started around May 24 and was completed on August 6th.

 

 

Frisco ISD Service Center, Phase II - Frisco, TX

    Contractor:  Coronado Builders in Ft. Worth, TX

We are pleased to have been selected as the Metal Building Contractor on Phase II of this project...we completed Phase I in May of 2003.  This phase adds roughly 19,000 sf of of Textbook Storage, Offices and Cooler Storage for the Frisco ISD.  All materials are being provided by Ceco Building Systems to assure that they will match the components utilized in Phase I.  Erection started in mid-may and the project was completed in early July (I believe the first food deliveries were made on July 15th).

 

 

Bear Creek Bible Church in Keller, TX

    Contractor: Frank Dale Construction in Southlake, TX

Project consisted of 28,000 sf of new construction for the Sanctuary and classroom spaces for this worship facility.  Construction was a Pre-engineered metal building provided by Ceco Building Systems of Columbus, MS.  The roof panel was a 24 ga Kynar Slate Gray CXP standing seam roof and all walls were open to masonry and EIFS.  This project featured a 4:12 roof pitch with nice elevation changes allowing the use of Clerestory windows to provide natural lighting into the Sanctuary.  Project was completed in May of 2004

 

Miracle Deliverance Pentecostal Church in Dallas, TX

    Contractor: Myler Church Building Systems of Crawfordsville, IN

Project consisted of 25,278 sf of new construction for the Sanctuary and classroom spaces for this worship facility.  Construction was a Pre-engineered metal building provided by United Structures of America in Houston, TX.  The roof panel was a 24 ga Kynar finish Guardian standing seam roof and all walls were sheeted with standard "R" panels, then covered with Face Brick and EIFS.  This unique structure features a 7:12 roof pitch and a predominately displayed cross that measures 10' by 35' and extends to nearly 80' above the surrounding grade.  Project was completed  in April of 2004

 

Trinity Industries, Plant 16 - Ft. Worth, TX

    Owner: Trinity Industries in Dallas, TX

Project consisted of the removal of nearly 14,000 sf of existing building and the installation of an 80' X 170' X 36' Eave Height building.  The new building featured all hot dipped galvanized framing members, (2) 10-Ton cranes and the exterior sheeting was Enduro fiberglass roof and wall panels.  The PEMB structure was provided by Ceco Building Systems.

The demolition began on December 29th and the new building was completed by April 4th, after a 7 week delay caused by permitting issues.  Compass worked (2) full crews back to back for 10-hour shifts in order to complete the project in such a short amount of time.

    Contractor: Unlimited Construction in Prosper, TX

Project consists of 7,500 sf of new construction.  Construction is conventional wood framing with mostly shingle roofing.  The Teller Drive-Thru, Main and Secondary Entries and the Walk Cover are sheeted with a 16" wide X 2" high rib Galvalume roof panel.  Materials provided by MBCI.

 

Farm Building for Frank Dale

    Contractor: Frank Dale of Decature, TX

Project consists of 2,400 sf housing and storage facility at the ranch of Frank Dale.  Materials provided by BC Steel Building of Oklahoma City.

Project consists of 14,000 sf of new construction and 34,000 sf of Retro-fit roof construction over an existing "flat-roof" building.  All roofing is 24" Trapezoidal rib standing seam roof panels.  Materials provided by USA Buildings.
